Vučić: Serbia reached an agreement with Moderna, vaccines by the end of October

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, stated today that an agreement has been reached on the procurement of vaccines with the American manufacturer Moderna, and that he expects that these vaccines will arrive in Serbia by the end of October.
In a series of discussions of the American organization Atlantic Council, which is broadcast live, Vučić pointed out in response to speculations and criticism about the vaccination process, that Serbia did not participate in the third or fourth phase of testing the Chinese and Russian vaccines and that “we only bought them when testing finished”.
“You have to put up with harsh criticism when you do something, there is no criticism when you do nothing, and I’m proud to be part of a team that did something – we did our job, and we got more vaccines than others,” he said when asked about the “vaccine diplomacy” of Serbia in the region.
