Growing global problems are growing challenges for each of us
In addition to the many environmental problems facing humanity, air pollution has been at the forefront for decades. The growth and expansion of industry and the increasing use of many industrial products, inevitably leads to pollution of the environment and the air we breathe. On the other hand, air pollution leads to an increasing deterioration of human health and disturbances of flora and fauna, due to which the entire ecosystem is brought into imbalance. Therefore, the individual and the community are expected to act and take steps that will lead to a reduction in the emission of harmful gases that worsen the situation on the planet day by day.
Greenhouse as a real danger to the ecological balance
For several decades, humanity has witnessed the emission of harmful gases that damage the ozone layer, disrupting the ecological balance and endangering all living species on the planet. Air pollution, global temperatures rise, melting glaciers and climate change are just some of the consequences of the greenhouse effect.
In all these global changes, the human factor certainly plays the most important role. Our decisions and actions in the last few decades have largely contributed to the environmental problems we face today. On the other hand, as individuals and communities, our actions deepen growing problems even more, instead of influencing their solution. Due to our negative and harmful habits that we do not want to give up, our living environment suffers unforeseeable consequences. If we do not do something in the present, our common future will be extremely uncertain and gloomy.
By changing harmful habits to reduce emissions of harmful gases
Air pollution threatens to become the biggest global and environmental problem. Excessive use of products and agents that emit harmful gases is increasing every day. The global expansion of certain industries, such as the automotive industry, which puts profit first and not the care of the environment, brings problems that are increasingly difficult to combat. Our bad habits make them even more difficult, although as individuals and communities, we always have a chance to choose.
If we change a little in the present, we will change a lot in the future, and that is why the Flexitarian Foundation believes that cleaner air is our right to choose!
By reducing harmful life habits to cleaner air
If we do a little, reducing our harmful living habits, we will do a lot for our environment and the cleaner air we breathe. In the first place, we will do a lot for the health of each individual and the community to which we belong. We will do a lot for all other species that live on the planet and share the same environmental problems that we have created. But in order to achieve that, we must, as in everything else, start from ourselves and the community to which we belong!
By reducing the use of certain means, such as car use, or switching to products that are more environmentally friendly than those offered by the chemical industry, we would greatly reduce the emission of harmful gases coming from factories. In that way, we would directly influence not only the environment, but also the improvement of the health of the population.
Education for cleaner air and a healthy environment!
The Flexitarian Foundation wants to influence individuals and the community to understand their importance for the health of the population and the planet through education and the promotion of environmentally friendly living habits. By educating individuals and the community about the harmful effects of air pollution on their health, the Foundation wants to take one step further in protecting the environment to which it belongs!
Our goals as Foundations should contribute to the following:
- educating of individuals and the community about the harmfulness of polluted air to health and the environment;
- promotion of environmentally friendly choices that should influence the change of harmful life habits;
- inform individuals and the community on reduction of air pollution in order to preserve health and protect the environment.
Being aware of the harmful consequences that human actions cause on a daily basis is the most important step on the path to change. Being ready to change harmful habits in order to preserve health and protect the environment should be one of the goals we should all strive for!
